Since 1893, people have sought the sanctuary of, and have been supported by Dublin Central Mission (DCM). We help people isolated from society for any number of reasons – loneliness, addiction, broken family, poor English, inability to find a suitable home.In our city centre premises and other Dublin locations, DCM, rooted in a Christian ethos, has fostered communities by opening our doors to those in difficult times. In our welcoming environment, help is provided, new friendships formed, and people support each other through our various services, such as:• Multilocation Day Programmes: We bring dozens of local communities members together weekly, promoting active aging, engagement, socialisation and inclusion.• Independent Living Communities: We provide over 80 residents with top quality, inviting home environments where they can continue to lead a fulfilling and active lifestyle.• Mount Tabor Nursing Home: where over 45 residents in need additional care receive the absolute best support our facilities provide.• City Centre Social Action Programmes: where we’ve helped 100s of individuals with addiction challenges have told us time and again that coming to the building has saved their lives.• The Streets of Dublin: where the hundreds of homeless we serve thank us, not just for the cup of soup or a pair of gloves, but for being recognised as a person with an inherent value, respect, and dignity.
