The Muskoka Intimate Concert Series (MICS) came about quite organically when two local music lovers realized that they shared a dream of bringing intimate concerts to Muskoka. Scott Morrison and Buck Miller met when Buck's brother-in-law recommended Scott as a Realtor when he and his wife Jenny we're moving to Huntsville.They quickly realized that they enjoyed the same kind of music and discussed the idea of bringing folk, singer songwriter types of artists to Muskoka for intimate concerts. Their goal is to deliver up close and personal shows where the artist and the patrons can really connect. They want people to come away feeling that they really got to know the artist and the stories behind their songs, think of Gordon Lightfoot or Joni Mitchell playing coffee shops and other small venues back in the day. MICS will put you in front of amazing artists, always in small venues, that you’ll listen to for a lifetime.
