Local to Mallow, Sarah is a full time practising visual artist. She works mainly in textiles including sculpture and installation. Stitch is her first hand. She loves the mediative slow process and the ease of understanding the viewer has to textiles. We are surrounded by textiles from the moment we are born and interact with fabric every day. Sarah has a BA in Visual Art (Sherkin Island) graduating from TU Dublin in 2018. She is currently undertaking a special award in textiles in Crawford College of Art Design due for completion in May 2024.
