Frida Xhitlaly is a Long Beach based Henna and Jagua temporary tattoo artist, using only organic, fair trade, sustainably sourced ingredients for her ink. She is also an amateur taxidermist and jewelry designer, mainly working with scavenged bones, antique beads, and upcycled materials. Most of her designs and creations are inspired by her indigenous roots and Mexican-American heritage and culture. Currently, she focuses on insect dioramas, taxidermied paw plaques, oddity cloches/domes, and 18kt gold or silver plated bone jewelry. Her jewelry designs range from Coyote atlas bone earrings to bovine statement necklaces to horn bracelets, and everything in between.
