The event DOG DAYS OF SUMMER will be held June 7th at the Foley American Legion 99. The event will be from 10 am to 4 pm. Our hope is to raise awareness about dogs and rescues in need in our area. Bring your dog on a 6 ft leash. Must have shots. There will be plenty of dogs looking for a second chance to find their FurEver homes with Wags and Whiskers Rescue. Enter our Patriotic Dog Parade ($30) sign up at our site http://alpost99.org . Dog demos by Foley and Gulf Shores Police and dog trainer David Jones of Southern K9. Bring the family for a great day and fun!The American legion will provide food and drinks with several activities throughout the event. Live music by Doc Johnson BandWe’ll also have a Marine Corp League and USMC booth to assist any veterans seeking resources, wanting to become a member and we’ll also have Service Dogs of Alabama in attendance assisting those in need of Service Dog applications.
