St. Francis Homeless Project, Inc. (SFHP) is a non-profit organization based in Fresno, CA, dedicated to providing women recovering from substance abuse, homelessness, human trafficking, and domestic violence with a second chance. We have developed a well-structured program that fosters a sense of community, essential for long-term stability and wellness, while offering job and life skills through hands-on learning and mentorship.Over the course of a 26-week program, women acquire new skills in marketing, production, and distribution by working with Dogs Dig ‘Em™ dog treats. Since the inception of SFHP, 62% of program graduates have found employment, and 72% have successfully regained custody of their children, returned to school, purchased homes, and reunited their families.Baking and selling Dogs Dig ‘Em™ dog treats helps participants boost their self-esteem and become more self-reliant, allowing them to discover new purposes and pursue opportunities they had not previously considered. This preparation supports their re-entry into the workforce and everyday life.Importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of Dogs Dig ‘Em™ dog treats directly fund the St. Francis Homeless Project program.
