Act Up was founded in January 2012 by Shane Nestor (Maxine on Netflix). It began as an acting class for the uninitiated and became a golden reserve for untapped talent. All classes are conducted in a fun and supportive environment to draw out the best of the students' inherent ability while fast-tracking them to the stage. Now, as well as providing acting & improv classes, Act Up has a thriving theatre production company.
