A stand-alone cocktail bar concept that is a love letter to the video store culture of the 80s and 90s, which fostered our love of film. The retro-themed design features art installations with video screens playing VHS clips, VHS-themed decor and wallpaper. Over 11,000 DVDs and Blu-rays are available for rent for FREE to all customers, along with 200 rentable VHS tapes, expertly curated by Chicago’s own Bric-A-Brac Records and Strange Tapes Zine. VCRs and DVD players are available for rent as well for a small fee. The bar has specialty drinks and 32 beers on tap, with a focus on our thriving local craft scene.
