Welcome to the Adelaide Hunter Hoodless Homestead and thank you for checking us out! We are a small not-for-profit community museum located on the outskirts of the beautiful St. George, Ontario. We are owned and operated by the Federated Women's Institute of Canada (FWIC).Our main mission is to interpret the life of Adelaide Hunter Hoodless. She was born in 1857 and spent her childhood and teenage years at this home. We celebrate her accomplishments and advocacy for educating women and girls, and interpret 19th century life in Brant.The museum is open for tours year-round and also host special events, as announced.
