Effective Leadership and Communication are my goals. Very few people train their whole lives to become a leader. At school we learn math, science, history and english. Then at college we start learning our specific craft. Whether that is engineer, marketing, finance, nursing or anything else. Then one day, we are either so good at our jobs that we get promoted into management, or we start our own business and suddenly people report to us.10,000 to 20,000 hours were spent learning to get really good at that job, how much time is spent learning your new role? Being a manager, and ultimately a leader, requires a completely new skill set. It also requires you to start communicating with people who have very different backgrounds than you do. Communication within your field is relatively simple. What happens when you have to explain your ideas to someone in a different department, or pitch your idea to investors? At NeuroConversant Leadership we help people to develop the leadership and communication skills necessary to get them to the next level.
