Elijah Red is an Oakland-based artist and founder of his own hand-painted unisex fashion brand known as Elijah Red. From growing up in Oakland to moving away and coming back, Elijah has definitely seen Oakland’s changes. After moving back from Los Angeles and Miami, Elijah chose to bring the higher appreciation for arts to his own city. “We can celebrate the arts just how Los Angeles and Miami do in their art districts.” After sharing his vision of first doing pop ups but facing challenges with others seeing the bigger vision and some challenges even being discriminatory. Elijah took matters in his own hands and created a space where artist would be judged based on the merit of their professionalism and work. As he states now here we are with Elevate Together, through all of the knowledge and experience he has accumulated, Elijah brings all of his experience as an artist from the music indistry, to creating his own fashion brand, to now making ways to uplift his own community.
