Malinda Perera is a Sri Lankan comedian currently based in Vienna, who started doing stand-up comedy in Vienna, Austria in 2016 and rose to success in a very short period. In 2019, while he was a researcher at university, Malinda made a rapid career change by becoming a full-time comedian hoping never to look back.Since taking the stage for the first time in 2016, Malinda has been exploring his inter-cultural experiences in a funny way and has performed and headlined in over 25 countries in Europe. His debut solo special “Not A Drug Dealer” was performed in 50 cities in 24 countries and had a sold out run in 2022. Malinda was also featured on Ireland's RTÉ’s hit sketch comedy series “No Worries If Not”.All shows/events organized by Malinda are stand-up comedy shows or comedy related and Malinda's current mission is making the world laugh one room at a time!
