I’m a Fellow Chartered Accountant, Managing Director and owner of Wynne and Co Accountants, entrepreneur and rookie writer – plus I’ve won a few awards, including Accountant of the Year 2024 at the Finance Awards Wales.I founded Wynne & Co to create a space where clients and team were valued in a place of equality and safety.I wanted to be a hands-on mum as well as fulfilled in my career. My aim was to create a business with health, wellbeing and happiness at its heart, this gained further momentum after a life changing CKD diagnosis in 2019 and an ADHD diagnosis in early 2024 at 44.In Wynne and Co I drive the firm’s growth and development, establishing a vision for where we want to go and what we want to achieve.I also look after our biggest or most challenging clients, those as ambitious as I am. I do tax planning, business development and advise how to grow whilst increasing profits. I use my ADHD creative brain to play to my strengths.l enjoy helping my team progress with their careers. I’m ambitious about the number of qualified accountants I want to turn out before I retire. My Wynne and Co team also want me to achieve my own career goals and support me in exploring other interests such as blogging and talking about all things business, tax, ADHD, mental health and equality. Something I’m extremely passionate about. In order to achieve a more content life I need to talk about some of the challenges that I have faced and to change people’s perceptions at the same time. Therefore I no longer mask who I am. I’m proudly different – some will like this, some won’t – I’m ready for that (with a rather unhealthy dose of Rejection Sensitivity thanks to ADHD)
