EQUINE EMBODIMENT PROGRAM

This is a flexible and organically unfolding program that could begin at dawn and close at sunset. Or we could sleep in, take the afternoon off, have a massage, swim in the Atlantic, go for a surf, catch a ferry to the islands, go out for dinner and experience Portuguese song and dance. Here is one idea....

MORNING PROGRAM

7.30am Earth and Body Awakening

- silent walking the land, creative movement

- Chi Kung and breath work

8.30am MORNING TEA

9.00am The Drums are Calling

- drumming with sticks on various surfaces or djembe drumming

- traditional rhythms, progressing into creative compositional rhythms based on your horse

10.00am Maropa Afro-Contemporary dance

- choreographed by Jacqui Dreessens and Patrick Motjale

- step of the zebra and lion living together in the circle of life

- progressing to new movement vocabulary developed from your horse

11.00am FREE TIME

- swimming, surfing, beach, hiking, horse riding, poolside, extended lunch

AFTERNOON PROGRAM

4.00pm Equine facilitated learning

- individual connection to your horse

- group observation and supportive encouragement

6.00pm AFTERNOON TEA

7.00pm Sunset Dreaming

- intuitive art activities, poetry, hanging out with the horses

8.00pm FINISH

INVESTMENT
