Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant is a culture-oriented food business that offers genuine Ethiopian cuisine alongside a full bar service option. Erta Ale Ethiopian Restaurant has come to the food service market intending to run a successful business owing to deep ties to the East African region, a passion for Ethiopian cuisine, and an adequate understanding of what it takes to successfully run a restaurant. We will also be utilizing family recipes for cooking traditionalEthiopian food. We named our restaurant after a famous tourist attraction in the northern part of Ethiopia Danakil Depression, Afar. Erta Ale literally means “smoking mountain” because it’s a location for one of the few volcanoes in the world that have a persistent lava lake.
