Born in Hong Kong, based in London.Ivana Ng(she/her) is a current student in MA Curating Contemporary Art at RCA, after working in the Learning Department at the Tate. In 2020, she put on an exhibition ‘Are We Being Heard? Tools of Protest’ in collaboration with Mmuseumm, NY. The exhibits were compiled into a catalogue which disseminates the narratives of Hong Kong protests internationally. In the same year, she found Objournalist and curated her debut exhibition ‘Sapientia: Anti-ELAB Movement Collection Exhibition’ in the University of Hong Kong. In 2021, she was invited to be one of the panelists of an online roundtable of the program ‘Now water can flow or it can crash, my friend: Fluid archives of active discontents from East Asia and beyond’ that was collaborated with Framer Framed and ASCA/University of Amsterdam.She believes in the quiet power of ordinary objects.
