Alli Steinke, Registered Yoga Teacher (RTY) 200 with over a decade of experience, has a passion for creating inclusive classes. She has dedicated her career to guiding individuals of all ages, from toddlers to older adults, on their yoga journey.In addition to teaching weekly classes, Alli hosts an annual Fall Equinox Yoga Retreat at Shades State Park with daily yoga classes, guided hikes, healing sound baths and reiki. All of the prana filled meals are provided and it is a weekend filled with self-love and connection to nature.Inspired from a commitment to inclusivity, Alli specializes in creating functional classes that cater to a diverse range of abilities. Her teaching philosophy centers around fostering strength and balance while ensuring every student feels welcome and supported on their mat.Along with her RTY 200 certification, Alli has experienced specialized training through Warriors at Ease, equipping her to work with veterans and in trauma informed leadership. This unique background allows Alli to create a safe and supportive environment; promoting healing and wellbeing through the practice of yoga.A distinct strength Alli holds is her emphasis on breathwork as a tool to regulate the nervous system and cultivate a sense of calm. She believes that the breath is a powerful anchor and integrating mindful breath techniques into her classes contributes to a holistic and transformative experience for yogis.Whether you are a beginner or seasoned yogi, Alli welcomes you to join her classes where the focus is not only on physical postures (asanas) but also on cultivating a deeper connection between the mind, body, and spirit through your breath.Alli is always learning and evolving. Her current endeavor is beginning her journey of becoming a Registered Nurse. She is a student at Ivy Tech Hamilton County and will graduate May 2025 with hopes to focus on holistic and preventative care by incorporating the mind, body, and spirit connection learned through yoga.
