About This Event

Brunch at our farm! Includes a tour of the farm, yard games, and food! The brunch is from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a main course of fried chicken and waffles. Additional food will likely include the following (note the menu could change slightly):

  • Fried chicken from our pasture-raised chickens,
  • Homemade Waffles with local maple syrup and/or honey from Wildflower Lane,
  • Homemade yogurt using locally sourced milk from Shwartz Family Farm with locally seasonal fruit.
  • Scrambled eggs from our laying hens at the farm,
  • Local pork (bacon or sausage), and
  • Our homemade sourdough bread with our homemade jam.

All extra food is for the taking until it is all gone! We will not let you leave hungry either!

Drinks will include the following:

  • Homemade coldbrew coffee,
  • Unlimited water to stay hydrated,
  • Orange Juice,
  • For those 21 and older, mimosas and bloody marys is available for donation,

For yard games we currently have cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and more. During the event, feel free to explore and walk around, see the animals, relax, and have a few drinks!

This is a rain or shine event. We have canopy tents available if rain is likely. If it's raining (no lightning) we may have to have a water balloon fight or water gun battle to make the rain a little less of a bad thing!

This event is a private fundraiser for our farm to continue to upgrade and improve.

We are the Florida Boys who moved to Ohio!We are Kevin and Clay, at Hammerie Farm. We were born and raised in Central Florida (St Augustine and Daytona Beach Shores) and moved to Ohio in 2017 to buy our small-town farm that same year.We follow nature as God intended. We practice organic, we maintain, replenish, and balance soil fertility to produce healthy and better tasting crops. We follow regenerative agriculture by rebuilding cultural and biological practices to improve soil health, manage weeds and pests, and increase biodiversity. We improve soil health by encouraging a vast mycelium (mushroom) network which is only possible through no-till. We do not own a tractor and most of our tools are simple hand tools. We raise laying hens, meat chickens, pigs, and turkeys. All of our animals are treated and loved as pets. They have fresh grass, fresh air, Non-GMO feed, and most of all plenty of love from us. For animals that we sell as meat, we process themselves ourselves, when we are able to, to ensure the animal does not suffer as we love them as our own.We are planning a lot at the farm this year and encourage everyone to come out and see us. We believe trust and friendship is more important than anything else! We would rather have 100 customers that are family and friends, than a 1,000 customers that just come and go. All events at our farm are used as fundraisers to help us build our business to have great food for our community and neighbors.Love you all!Kevin and Clay at Hammerie Farm
