Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Franklin, Tennessee, our multicultural parish has an abundance of offerings for all people, young and old, wherever they are in their faith journey.St. Philip Catholic Church was established in Franklin on November 6, 1871, the first Catholic church in Williamson County. Founded by 26 families, most Irish immigrants, St. Philip has grown into a multicultural community of 1500+ families. Guided by the traditions of the past and with a clear focus on our future, St. Philip strives to retain the vision of those early families who struggled to bring the Catholic faith to Franklin by reaching out to the community. Through Word, Worship, Community and Service, St. Philip Catholic Church continues to do so as one of Franklin’s most dynamic Christian churches.
