Greeting from the Juneteenth Organization of Wylie (JOW), We are excited to host Wylie’s 1st Casino Night Gala Fundraiser, benefiting local Wylie families. The Gala will consist of a toy and gift card drive to provide toys and gifts for Wylie children and teens of all ages, as well feeding local families and seniors in need during the Christmas Holiday season. This gala is planned and accomplished through the hard work of volunteers consisting of local Wylie residents and businesses. We have come together to raise funds and collect toys as a service to our community. JOW is not only focused on the Juneteenth holiday but also aligning strategic approaches to influence outcomes and drive change on behalf of the Wylie community. JOW’s mission is to help our community prosper and thrive through advocacy and support for Wylie and surrounding area residents.JOW’s Casino Night Fundraiser Gala will support Wylie Police Department with their annual toy drive with Toys for Tots and expand this service by incorporating additional donations to feed families and seniors. JOW hopes this gala will be successful and become an annual event. The casino themed event features live local entertainment, a DJ, local vendors including a cigar vendor, photo booth, festive dining stations, local whiskey business, silent auction, free casino games, and a car service to provide pick up to and from the event by request. The event will receive coverage and recognition by the City Council, the local newspaper, radio stations, plus a large increase in social media and search engine engagement.Please come out to support the Juneteenth Organization of Wylie and the Wylie Police Department. We are anxiously looking forward to the great success of this year’s event, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2023 at The Wylie National Guard Army in Wylie, TX.As a community event, the continued support from our guest enables the Juneteenth Organization of Wylie to support the Wylie community. Your support will help ensure the event's success; in return provide an opportunity to connect with Wylie and surrounding area citizens.
