My name is Gianluca Ruggieri. I was born and raised in Rome, Italy, and moved to Toronto in 2019 to take my culinary career further.I’ve been in the food industry for over 13 years, working in luxury hotels, sports bars, pizzerie, and restaurants, where I’ve taken on roles like server, line cook, head chef, and bartender.When I got to Toronto, I discovered private dining and started doing it on my own, and In just three years, it became my full-time job.The cuisine I offer is traditional gourmet Italian, with a focus on simple yet elevated dishes.My goal is to create an unforgettable experience rather than just a meal—something that leaves a lasting impression.I recently started a web series called Flavours of Italy, where I teach people about traditional Italian cuisine through fun and engaging cooking videos, focusing on authentic dishes and flavors that often go unnoticed.Thanks to the series’ success and the growing interest from my audience, I decided to create a supper club inspired by it, bringing guests together at one communal table to enjoy the same dishes featured in the series.
