Thank you for your interest in this event!Shona Harcus is a Scottish abstract painter who balances her full-time art practice with being a mother to two young children.She is based at her studio within Perth Creative Exchange where she paints and also facilitates painting workshops.Shona is hugely inspired by nature, her surroundings and inner emotions. These themes regularly inform her expressive, intuitive paintings."I’m not too concerned about the representational, I feel it’s essential to leave a piece open to interpretation allowing the viewer to find their own special connection with it.”Shona was born and raised in Scotland and studied Fine Art and Contemporary Art Practice. She regularly exhibits her work at Galleries in the UK.
