Fog City Singers is an innovative mashup project, building on a core of leadership from some of the nation's best barbershop choruses (Central Standard, Ambassadors of Harmony, Voices of Gotham, and Voices in Harmony) and drawing singers and artistic direction from some of the San Francisco Bay Area's most elite vocal ensembles, including Chanticleer, Volti, Philharmonia Baroque Chorale, American Bach Soloists, Clerestory, The Choral Project, Endersnight, International Orange Chorale, Golden Gate Men's Chorus, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.Born as a passionate project among six friends, an initial roster was assembled for a startup concert in late Fall 2015 for a yet-unnamed ensemble.
