Hello! We are a DC Health funded initiative, driven by the goal nourishing the body and soul by making healthy habits more attainable in wards 7 and 8. Our aim is to ensure that our local communities feel that they are being set up for success in their ability to select and eat healthy foods that can reduce risks for diseases and conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. In our interactive and activity-based classes we navigate topics such as how to identify, select and purchase products that will nourish the body while keeping budget in mind.We hope to see you at one of our complimentary classes soon!
