Although Pastor Middleton didn’t seek a college education untillater on in her adult life, The Lord has allowed her to hold several leadershipand supervisory positions within her employment career and within andoutside the church.Pastor Middleton attended Holy Ghost Deliverance Church in New Haven,Connecticut as a child under the leadership of Bishop Lonnie Gorham Sr. andJr., where she was active in the Choir and Youth Department. At the age ofEighteen Pastor Middleton began running from the Lord, but after manyattacks and failures her running came to an end. In 1993, she returned to Godand accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was then filled with the gift ofThe Holy Spirit.In the same year, Pastor Middleton married the love of her life, Robert L.Middleton, Jr. of New Haven, CT. They have been married for over 30 yearsand have 4 wonderful children and 4 grandchildren. After her union to RobertMiddleton, she began to attend Rehoboth COGIC in Bridgeport, Connecticutunder the leadership of Bishop Augustus D. Pullen, where she served in manycapacities: Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Sunshine Band, and Choir. SisMiddleton at the time served as State Chairlady for the Youth Department inst1Jurisdiction for Church of God in Christ, under Bishop C.H. Brewer, Jr.In 1996, Pastor Middleton was called into ministry. In 2003 after 11 years offaithful service to Rehoboth COGIC, the Lord called, Elder Robert MiddletonJr., and Missionary Middleton to begin New Beginnings Ministers, Inc.,located in Hamden, Connecticut. Missionary Middleton was licensed as aevangelist after serving in many capacities for 8 years.
