Events Co.The Festival has always aimed to offer a marketplace for new and upcoming businesses to test their ideas, share their wares, to connect, collaborate, and create together!Origins and PurposeEstablished in 2022 by Riadh Falvo of Bumble & Oak Co, a Cambridge-based chocolatier, the festival was conceived to showcase the craftsmanship of local chocolatiers, makers, and bakers, and to educate the public about chocolate's rich history and cultural significance. It has grown since its conception to support artists, artisans, and creativity in all forms! The main event takes place over Valentine’s Weekend - a celebration of our LOVE for and in support of start-ups, small, independent businesses, and those with inspired spirit!Community EngagementThe Cambridge Chocolate Festival serves as a platform for local businesses to connect with the community, fostering a sense of unity and shared appreciation for the culinary arts. It also provides an opportunity for small enterprises to gain exposure and build relationships with new customers.Sweet TraditionIn just a few years, the Cambridge Chocolate Festival has become a cherished tradition, delighting attendees with the wonders of chocolate and strengthening community bonds through shared experiences and a love for this timeless treat.About Riadh & TruffleRiadh Falvo is the founder of the Cambridge Chocolate Festival and is accompanied by her chocolate cocker spaniel, Truffle. Riadh and Truffle have collaborated on a dog-friendly directory of businesses across the UK, including cafes, shops, and venues. The directory is promoted through #CamChocoFest, and participating businesses receive a "Truffle Approved" sticker for their shop window or wall. The sticker includes a QR code that links to the directory website.Riadh is also a trained chocolatier who makes artisanal chocolate recipes using herbal concoctions, tea infusions, and foraged cordials and tinctures.A celebration of our LOVE and support of start-ups and upstarts!“Don't make yourself small for anyone.
