He received certification as a Forest Therapy Guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides (ANFT). He studied Environmental Studies with the Audubon Expedition Institute and holds degrees in Natural Resources Conservation and Wildlife Biology from the University of Massachusetts.
