The Affordable Housing Conference (AHC) is a key player in addressing the housing affordability need.We have embarked on a continuous journey of bringing more people at the table who in the past, may have not received an invitation but through innovation, may become key players when it comes to the supply chain and prioritizing new foundations for at-risk-populations, women & children, seniors, students, urban city centres, rural and remote communities. We are here to lead the change through a variety of conferences and special events designed to build vital relationships and more diversity representation in a demanding marketplace. One of those special events is the Inaugural Indigenous Handgames Tournament celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day , Sports Day and Solstice Markets which is proudly hosted by the Affordable Housing Conference Events Day Team.Affordable Housing & Infrastructure for Indigenous Communities continues to be one our top-priorities.With great efforts of uniting communities in a family friendly environment,we invite participants of all backgrounds to leave the work shoes behind to cheer on, promote, support, play; compete and just be family.Everyone is welcome! A Solstice only happens twice a year and with that we are curating an event reflecting the positive vibes and feelings from the Sun to attract a vibrant diverse crowd, including families, adults, shoppers, Dignitaries, Chiefs, seniors, elders from around the city, Reserves and those from out-of-town representing the Western Rim and Territorial Resiliency of mission of accomplishments. We are grateful and privileged to come together on the traditional and ancestral territories of the Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis People. Together, we are hoping to bring a diverse crowd with multiple demographics, interest and love for their communities.
