The Fresno Police Chief’s Foundation was created by a group of passionate citizens, community leaders, and members of the Fresno Police Department in 2002 to give Fresno’s law enforcement officers the tools they need to properly and safely do their job. Since that inception over 20 years ago, the Foundation has expanded its reach by raising it's profile in order to engage a larger part of the greater Fresno community. Through public safety initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community empowerment, the Fresno Police Chief’s Foundation brings together the police department and the community it serves. Working through the Fresno Chief of Police, the Foundation provides funding for vital departmental needs that otherwise would go unfunded.
