The mission of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department is to provide our residents with the highest level of fire and life safety protective services. The Department provides 24-hour fire, rescue, and paramedic services from three fire stations located strategically throughout the Village. The Department operates three Advanced Life Support (ALS) Mobile Intensive Care Ambulances, 2 ALS engines, 2 ALS quints, and 1 ALS squad staffed by State of Illinois Licensed Paramedics. Last year the Fire Department responded to over five thousand total incidents, of which, approximately 60% were emergency medical responses.
