Join leading clinicians Ana Bott and Philippa Oakley for this live event!
From Theory to Practice - LGBTQ+ Healthcare in Action builds on the groundbreaking theoretical training introduced in Ana and Philippa's online course.
NB. Whilst not a prerequisite, in order to maximise your learning from this event and understand the theoretical concepts expanded upon in the live training day, we strongly recommend that you enrol and complete the online theory course before attending this event.
This in-person event will enrich your understanding and knowledge of practical considerations of LGBTQ+ health care, providing you with practical hands-on skills to support the delivery of inclusive care. We'll be building on existing theoretical knowledge to cover:
Within their clinics, both Ana and Philippa have developed their own techniques based on the needs of their LGBTQ+ clients, so this is a unique opportunity to see this in practice and learn first-hand from these two leading figures in the field of inclusive manual therapy.
This is an unmissable event for anyone who works in a hands-on, patient-facing role, and who would like to feel more confident in their treatment approaches for the care of LGBTQ+ individuals. If you're not sure if the event is right for you, get in touch!
Join us in person at Acorn Health, our bright and open-plan clinic space in Amesbury, Wiltshire. If you're one of our international students, you can still join us! We'll be running a live-stream option hosted by a professional audiovisual team to create an in-person feel for those of you joining online.
NB. This training day provides 5.5 hours "learning with others" CPD.
