Ghazali Education Trust UK (GET UK) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO) with a clear mission. GET UK aims to assist and provide an excellent education for the poor and needy in Pakistan, to achieve their full potential. Initially founded as Ghazali Education Trust in 1995, started with a limited number of resources and manpower, the charity’s mission is to eradicate illiteracy and ignorance in rural areas of Pakistan by educating students and training teachers. Whilst people’s ideologies take time to change especially regarding women empowerment, great achievements have been made on the ground. However, greater work is needed to achieve the desired results.
