Back in 1927, Bob McKellar’s parents planted seven sycamore trees for the shade they would provide, thus naming their farm Historic Seven Sycamores Ranch. With a few small seeds, they cultivated this land with purpose and watched it grow.Spanning generations, the farm has been many things to many people. This place has been home to countless memories that have helped mold and shape lives.Perhaps no one can appreciate our history more than Bob McKellar. In the backyard where Bob was raised, in what was once his mother’s Camellia garden, he and his wife Ann spoke their vows and were joined in marriage. In 2007, their wedding was the first to be celebrated in this place his parents created and officially opened our wedding and event venue. Over the past 12 years, we have had the opportunity to host many events in our Garden and the Glass Barn, the original packing house of our citrus farm.Historic Seven Sycamores isn't just a venue; it is a home with history at its heart, where life has lived and lives. Where others can plant a seed and lay the foundation for their future – where together, they can make that promise grow. This home is the heart our story.
