GEMBUR means "ploughing" in Bahasa Malaysia, a crucial process that loosens the soil to improve growth. Similarly, we believe inclusive environments that accept and support unique individual needs play a key role in empowering Neurodivergent individuals (e.g. Autistic, ADHD-er, Dyslexic) to flourish. As part of the YAE! alumni network under the National Art Gallery, we are excited to develop advocacy materials and opportunitiesto help the public understand and connect with Neurodivergent individuals better. We strive to spark curiosity, be authentic and collaborate in taking actions to plough the groundwork for inclusive environments that accept and support unique individual needs, towards a thriving Neurodiverse society.
