Gentle Persuasive Approaches in Dementia Care (GPA®)

This training is open only to Mental Health & Addiction Staff within Health PEI unless otherwise stated. GPA Basics is an evidence-based education session designed for team members who care for older adults who display responsive behaviours associated with dementia. Learners complete four modules which include interactive exercises, creative multimedia, and reflective learning. *Note this course is recommended every 3 years and refresher attended yearly. **Training is cancelled if Provincial Government Offices are closed or delayed.**
