GDG Cloud Toronto is a community group that believes in the motto of nurturing passion for Technology. The group consists of 1800 members on the meetup group and conducts regular technology sessions. These sessions are all things technology and hands-on labs. On the contrary, the group greatly believes in the power of Women creating success stories in business and technology. Appallingly, internal research conducted on gender diversity during our Cloud Study Jams suggests that the participation of women is not more than 20%. Supported by Google, StartGBC and George Brown College currently, we are trying to increase this number of participation, by organizing separate events and panel sessions to enlighten the society about the inspiring women who have paved their way to becoming digital leaders.
