Visit from the Stork supports families of all shapes and sizes across Greater Manchester. Our vision is for all parents to be equipped with the resources they need to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their family. Having started out in 2013 as the UK’s only publication for parents & parents-to-be under 25, we have grown to be an organisation that works with parents of all ages, adapting our services according to the needs of local families.Our new community shop - Stork Store - is hosting a number of events in 2022, thanks to funding from NHS Salford CCG. Our events are always family friendly, aimed at parents with both babies and children and covering a wide spectrum of interests. We are working with other local businesses to bring you exclusive classes, workshops, social events and peer support groups. Most of our events will be donation pay-what-you-can based, meaning they are accessible to anybody whilst also helping us become more sustainable and raising vital funds for our work supporting vulnerable families.Our project BOOBS - Be open on Breastfeeding Salford - also hosts monthly breastfeeding cafes, antenatal classes and will be partnering with us to bring some exclusive events to our Stork Store.
