I’m Alexandra, about 8 years ago I started a little herbal education business called Mindful Wilderness. Through the years I have always dreamed of creating a space to host the remedies of the incredible women makers I have met along the way. These are trusted collaborators, partners and friends and I hope you find as much joy, nourishment and wisdom in their remedies as I have! I began my herbalism journey 10 years ago, inspired by my grandmother and the wise women in my Romanian heritage. For the last 8 years I have been teaching workshops on herbal medicine, nature connection and wilderness skills. I offer workshops at my home, and now of course at Vulgaris Herbs, local organizations and farms in the lower Hudson Valley with the intention to create and support our connection to local communities and plants.
