Hearts Healing Together provides peer-to-peer grief support and a community for those who are grieving a loss. Grief can have a unique loneliness. And that loneliness can be amplified when people around us don’t understand our grief.Sometimes we just need to talk about our story of loss and grief, not to get sympathy or help, but to have our grief witnessed by people who truly listen and have experienced and understand loss. When we listen, we realize that we are not walking the road of grief alone. Peer-to-peer support provides:• A safe place to be ourselves, without someone trying to fix us because we are not broken.• A place to have our pain and struggle witnessed and acknowledged.• A place to have our feelings normalized.• An opportunity to learn from each other.It is through support and connection that our hearts begin healing together.As CS Lewis wrote: “Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another, “What!
