Jothi and Janine have forged a new partnership to run and grow HERSpace, a monthly collective of self-identified women and femmes who connect around self and community care. All of our work is delivered through a culturally responsive lens while decolonizing wellness practices that honour ancient knowledge and ancestral wisdom.Our monthly gatherings include sound bowl healing meditations, expressive arts, and somatic experiencing. You will leave feeling connected, supported, grounded, lighter, and more clear. Our circle is a safe and supportive space for women to come together, share their stories, and support one another on their wellness journeys.We are located at 1970 Brock St. at the North West corner in the beautiful Heritage House with the bright yellow door! Come in and go to the back and you will find our space on the right.About the FacilitatorsJoan Jothi Saldanha also known as Jothi is the Founder of Jothi Creative Wellness and Visionary behind HERSpace. Jothi Creative Wellness began in 2016 and has grown into a suite of wellness modalities that are delivered to a wide range of communities from the classroom to the boardroom all across Canada. These modalities include Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming, Quantum Healing, Creative Process, Self-leadership, Mindfulness Practices that include Guided Meditations and Sound Bowl Healing.As an Artist Educator and Group Facilitator with over 15 years of experience in the field, Jothi is passionate about shifting the ways in which we reclaim our time and space when it comes to our diverse needs around mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. She has a passion for creating and holding space for communities to connect, share, and heal. For over a decade, she has worked in service to diverse communities across Canada through roles of program management and development, partnership and fund development, providing life skills support to individuals as well as development of community strategies. Most recently Janine has dove into her passion for supporting those on their journey of healing through her own business, Mindfully Created.Her passion for tapping into her intuition and what was needed most, guided Janine to create her business Mindfully Created, where she crafts gemstone jewelry, crystal-infused essential oil rollers, and body products to support clients on their healing journey as a reminder of their inner power. Through her workshops and experiences that are delivered under Soulful Connections, Janine encourages participants to delve deeply into their personal narratives, providing tools for self-discovery and care that honor each individual’s unique journey. She believes that every experience, whether joyful or challenging, holds a sacred lesson that can lead to profound growth and understanding.By fostering an environment of compassion and connection, Janine empowers others to embrace their journey and who they are. She reminds us all that acknowledging and nurturing our pain is not only a path to personal healing but also a sacred act that reverberates through time, paving the way for collective transformation.
