Shannon Bramer is a Toronto-based poet and playwright. She has written several books of poetry for children. Her most recent collection,Robot, Unicorn, Queen: poems for you and me(illustrated by Irene Luxbacher) was the 2024 winner of The David Booth Children’s and Youth Poetry Award. Sometimes she runs writing workshops for kids because she thinks they are as beautiful and wonderful as poems.
