HRC focuses its work on addressing and eliminating discrimination throughout the city of York. This year we have been overwhelmingly busy assisting a vast number of residents who have experienced discrimination. Your financial contributions have made it possible for us to remain a critical organization intent on ending discriminatory practices against protected classes.The Commission is responsible for enforcing Act 185 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of York and conducts intakes and investigates discrimination complaints in housing, employment and public accommodations (which may include schools, colleges and institutes).
