Ceola is married to music composer, artist, and Minister, Dre Griffin; the two work side-by-side in ministry. Ceola has served in ministry for 25 years in several capacities, including as a church administrator, support in the women’s ministry, as event planner, and prayer intercessor. She was licensed as a Minister in August 2015 and ordained as Prophetess is October 2022.Having seen and experienced pain and trauma as a child and adult, Ceola found her purpose in supporting women and children. Today, Ceola is proof there is life after trauma and encourages women and children who have experienced trauma to do the same. In her message, “Your Past Does Not Destroy Your Destiny,” Ceola empowers women, children, and communities to live beyond the pain of their past and inspires them to seek and live in their God-given purpose! As an advocate for women and children and the unhoused and under-served population, Ceola launched Dream2b to expand her support to women and children to a community-wide effort through its programs and services, including performing arts. Since a child, Ceola has had a love to write creatively. Writing as a child was a way of escape for Ceola, and in early 2000, she took pen to pad and wrote what would become her first stage play.Since then, under her production company CJ Productions, Ceola has written and produced four more stage plays and one sitcom, and she is working on her first full-feature film, all of which are faith-based productions. Ceola is the published author of the book, “I Know It Was the Blood: A Story of Overcoming,” and she is working on four new e-books and four new CD series. Many know Ceola as a powerful speaker who transparently tells it like it is. Since June of 2014 Ceola planned and spoke at many women’s conferences, summits, churches, and other events, promoting and supporting women through encouragement, education, and empowerment.
