Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. - Zeta Nu Zeta chapter has served the Inkster, MI and Western Wayne County community since 1964.It was Friday, January 3, 1964, when a group of eight prestigious Zeta sorority members united at the home of Marie Clifton for the purpose of organizing an Inkster Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. With high anticipation of receiving the chapter charter, an election was held. Later, they met with the National President at the time, Dr. Deborah P. Wolf, only to successfully receive the National Charter for the new Zeta Nu Zeta Inkster Chapter. It was such a joyous occasion that even Ione Gibson, Great Lakes Regional Director during that time, along with visiting sorority members from all over the State of Michigan and surrounding areas, presented the new chapter with gifts. Still standing and growing strong, Zeta Nu Zeta is proud to be amongst the many chapters within the nine regions of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.Since its inception in 1964, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Nu Zeta Chapter has been a pillar in the Inkster and Western Wayne County communities through providing educational and humanitarian services.
