Rob is a self-taught artist specializing in 1-of-a-kind Metal Sculpture, Wire Sculpture, and Rob's "Roller Rings" Jewelry. Rob began his journey into the artistic world of creation in 2017, when he realized how much of a "left-brain thinker" he was, and decided he needed a way to "balance" his over-thinking, critical mind. Rob took to making things out of metal very quickly, and he found himself making beautiful things from Nature out of copper, steel, barbwire, and wire that he was able to reuse from old CRT television sets, that people were throwing away.Rob's success at art & craft festivals really made him think about opening a gallery, but that was more of a pipe dream than anything else, until August of 2023, when the company he works part time for, making roman shades, decided to move locations within the City of Chicago. Over the previous 5 years, Rob had developed a strong "bond" with the building he went to work at since 2019, and when he was informed that they were moving locations, an "emptiness" filled his stomach, realizing that he would be leaving behind something that felt like a part of him. So, at that very moment, with about 1 second of consideration, he decided to open an art gallery, and Timeless Arts Gallery & Studio at 3040 N. Ashland Avenue in CHICAGO was born.Rob has hosted many events at the gallery since his Grand Opening on December 16th, 2023, and everyone that has visited his gallery has said, "I've never seen a gallery like this before. Simply amazing what you've done with this space."Rob now teaches natural healing classes at the gallery as well, and brings in guest speakers and healing professionals, sound therapy musicians, etc. on a regular basis. Rob looks forward to the many years of peace and tranquility as an art gallery owner, but admits he must force himself into his basement studio to continue making art, as running the day-to-day operations of the gallery takes up a lot of "time".
