I am Helen, a mum of two grown up children and a former primary teacher. I have always had a love of nature and was an active gardener until May 2022. I had to have a sudden back operation to remove a large tumour from my spine.Needless to say, I had to find ways of keeping myself busy and needle felting was one way of keeping my mind focused - away from the chronic pain and to stop the negativity in my head.From there, my creations have proven popular but the teacher inside me still wants to help others to do well. After hearing people saying that they've tried needle felting and couldn't do it, I want to prove to them that they can.So I am now on a mission to help others to do this craft to the best of their ability but also to help them to relax and fully lose themselves in what they create.I use items that are ethically and sustainably sourced and reuse some items where I can.
