A strong focus of the Florida Natural Areas Inventory is assisting our stakeholders in documenting the occurrences, impacts and provide management recommendations of invasive plant species occurrences in Florida's conservation lands. Twice a year, we hold two free, day-long workshops on identifying invasive plant species, suggestions on when and how to survey for invasive plants, especially recently treated invasive plants. We also provide recommendations of how to integrate invasive plant management into other land management activities given real-world constraints likely faced by land and resource managers in Florida.
