Irish Rule of Law International (IRLI) is an all-Ireland body, supported by members of both branches of the legal profession throughout the island of Ireland. It is an NGO, working to support and strengthen the Rule of Law in resource-constrained countries. Headquartered in Dublin, IRLI has programmes in Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa and Tigray. Its programmes are locally driven, responsive to local needs, as it works with local partners and through alliances. The staff are made up of a mixture of lawyers, programme officers, development and governance experts, social workers, and specialist support staff, while the organisation also benefits from the contributions of pro bono volunteers.
