Charlton Kings Cricket Club, on the outskirts of Cheltenham, is a friendly community cricket club which has been designated a Focus Club by the ECB to be a hub of the community network for cricket development, particularly for the benefit of children and young people. We have achieved ClubMark accreditation by demonstrating that best practices are in place to develop and deliver high quality community cricket in a safe, effective and child-friendly way.Charlton Kings senior section runs 4 men’s teams on a Saturday, 2 Midweek League teams and 1 women’s softball team.In the 2021 season our 1st XI won Gloucestershire Division 1 and now competes in WEPL Gloucestershire.In 2015 and 2019 our 1st XI were Gloucestershire Men’s County Trophy Winners and in 2018 and 2019 our Women's XI became Cotswold District Cricket Association's Women's League Winners.
