I am a highly accomplished educator and business owner with deep roots in the beauty industry. I proudly operate Nappy Hutt LLC, The Natural Hair Care Salon & Braid Center in Savannah, Georgia. I specialize in locs, braiding, and natural hair care for both men and women. My passion lies in empowering individuals to achieve their business dreams, and I am dedicated to being the most outstanding instructor in the industry.Through my hands-on seminars (and one day soon, virtually), I offer invaluable guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs, drawing from my journey to inspire them. My ultimate goals are to launch my product lines nationally and establish my salon as a successful black-owned chain. I am committed to becoming a nationally recognized name in education, hair, skin, and facial care, leaving a lasting impact on my community and beyond.I have been braiding since I was just 7 years old, and now at 54, I have built a deep connection with the beauty industry. I had the incredible opportunity to work with Taliah Waajid, a natural hair and hair care product pioneer. During my time there, I served as her lead instructor for five years and worked as a stylist in her salon, honing my skills and sharing my passion for hair care.Since 2008, I have been actively involved in educating at the Taliah Waajid World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show, along with many other prestigious events, including the Bronner Bros Hair Shows, Premiere Hair Shows, Kevin Kirk's Jam Sessions, and the Texas International Trade Show, among others.
